jojo, jojo and jojos shake bar are on their way to Bar Harbor inn in Chicago.
Jojo’s will be the first bar in Chicago to open its doors to all patrons in 2018.
Bar Harbor Inn owner Chris J. Rieckmann told me that Bare Bar is a new concept for Bar Harbor.
“It is the first new concept that we’ve done in a long time,” Riechmann said.
“I think Bare Bar will be really great.”
Bare Bar, which is currently being built out of reclaimed steel, will open its first location in early 2019.
The bar will be located at 1745 N. Clark St. While Bare Bar has only been opened for a week, it has already gained a lot of popularity, according to Riechanmann.
“The buzz is so high, I can’t believe it’s been open so long,” he said.
“Bare is the perfect cocktail to get a hangover off,” Rienckmann added.
The bar, which will have a patio with an outdoor seating area, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the announcement.
Bare will feature a selection of the bar’s favorite drinks and cocktails, including Bare Cocktail, Bare Beer and Bare Brandy.
Riechman said he has already seen the impact Bare Bar can have in the community.
“I see it as a big change in how people live their lives,” he told me.
“It’s about getting away from the hustle and bustle of life and embracing the natural beauty around you.
That’s really important.”
Rieckman has been involved in the bar business for nearly 40 years.
He has served as its first owner and has served in various positions, including bartender.
