The app is still in beta and features an ad-free experience, but that could change with more support.
The Hangouts team are also working on a new version of the app which will include a new feature called the bar chat which lets you ask people to join a conversation or ask questions of the bar’s staff.
The app’s developers are also looking at a redesign of the notifications, and the feature will be available to all users in the coming weeks.
As part of the new feature, you can share a video with a friend, and it’ll also be possible to set up a private channel for other users to see the conversation.
In addition, the app will allow you to add custom bar names and a bar’s name and description to a private message.
You can also invite other people to a chat, or ask them to add their own comments to a video or a photo.
Google+ Hangout also includes a new tab for sharing photos.
You’ll be able to use your camera to capture your favourite photos of the local pub or restaurant, and you can upload them to the app.
Google+ has been a great way to share your local neighbourhood with friends.
It’s not just bar owners that are looking forward to the new version, too.
Bar owners are also keen to add the feature to the rest of the Google+ app.
They’ll be happy to hear that the app’s design is now much cleaner and that the bar will get a better search result.
