Bar Harbor has closed in Seattle after an employee called the police to report an assault, and the bar has posted a notice on its Facebook page.
The notice says the incident happened at about 10 p.m. on Thursday and that an investigation has been launched.
The bar said that a manager is assisting with the investigation.
The Seattle Times reports that the bar is owned by a woman who is a manager at a different bar.
Bar Harbor opened on April 30, 2017.
The restaurant was previously owned by the same woman, according to a statement from the restaurant.
“Bar Harbor has been an employee-owned business for more than 10 years and is owned and operated by an owner, who is responsible for overseeing the operations of the business,” the statement said.
“The manager of Bar Harbor is responsible to ensure the business is safe and clean.
We have no information to indicate any misconduct at Bar Harbor.”
The restaurant was the subject of a national backlash in the wake of the sexual assault and murder of a woman in Washington state.
